NEWS: Tennessee Chancellor Donde Plowman, president of the SEC's executive committee, tells ESPN the league will enforce its rules regarding NFL players trying to return to college. "We are prepared to defend our rules and our authority to defend our rules."
She adds that the league's presidents have empowered Greg Sankey to use his authority on the rule: "This is not a rule we will budge on."
On LSU: "They were in the room when the vote was taken on the penalties. So they know."
