Kansas has received an unprecedented $300 million gift from donor David Booth, believed to be among the largest single gifts in the history of college athletics, KU officials tell Max Olson and me. This is a significant day for Kansas football, which continues to aggressively invest. Kansas plans to allocate $75 million of Booth’s gift toward launching Phase 2 of its transformation of David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium and construction of the surrounding Gateway District.
