Sources: Kentucky is set to hire Joe Sloan as the school’s offensive coordinator. Sloan is the former OC and quarterbacks coach at LSU and spent nine years at Louisiana Tech prior to that.
He coached Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels at LSU. Sloan will be the Wildcats’ play caller. He’s the first on-field hire for new Kentucky coach Will Stein, who also has extensive quarterback experience.
