Source: Nevada transfer Brendon Lewis has emerged as the starting quarterback at Memphis, and he’ll debut in the opener against Chattanooga. He’s a sixth-year senior who played in 39 games at Nevada and at Colorado early in his career. Lewis has thrown for 5,330 yards and 28 touchdowns in his career. Memphis has gone 21-5 the last two years under Ryan Silverfield.
