Yankees catcher/captain Thurman Munson died in the crash of a plane he piloted in Canton, Ohio, 8/2/79. Jerry Anderson, 1 of 2 passengers (both survived), told us in 2004 his memory of Munson's dying concern for his friends: "He said to both David (Hall) and I, 'Are you guys all right?'
