SARASOTA, Florida (Ticker) -- After being blanked for six innings by Pete Harnisch, the Kansas City Royals scored four times in the seventh to defeat the Cincinnati Reds, 4-2, in a Grapefruit League game.

Harnisch gave up four singles with two walks and four strikeouts, extending his spring scoreless streak to 14 1/3 innings. But Dennys Reyes could not protect a 2-0 lead.

Jon Nunnally highlighted the four-run seventh with an RBI double against his former team. Trying to make the team as a non-roster player, he went 1-for-2 to raise his Grapefruit League average to just .174.

Rey Sanchez added two hits and an RBI for the Royals, who got 6 1/3 innings of scoreless relief from Chris Fussell, Scott Mullen, Brett Laxton and Tony Cogan. Cogan worked the ninth for the save.

Ken Griffey Jr. singled, doubled and drove in a run for Cincinnati.
