ESPN Fantasy Projection: McCollum is coming off an excellent campaign, including career-best marks of 2.8 3PG, 4.4 APG, 4.2 RPG and 0.6 BPG to support his typically strong 22.2 PPG as the No. 2 scorer on the Trail Blazers, supporting Damian Lillard. The Trail Blazers appear to be stronger this season, with center Jusuf Nurkic healthy, new addition Robert Covington to provide volume 3-point shooting from the frontcourt, and Carmelo Anthony signed and in the fold to start the season. While these players could potentially eat into McCollum's shots, they should also open up the floor for him to score more efficiently and potentially improve further in assists. He's a solid early/mid-round prospect in fantasy drafts.
