News: 21 hours agoPaul (groin) was a full participant at the Warriors' first day of training camp Tuesday, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Spin: In addition to practicing and scrimmaging, Paul and Stephen Curry stayed late for drill work. Paul's spry activity and extra reps with Curry bodes well for acclimating effectively, and it appears his groin injury from May is entirely behind him.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Paul is entering his 19th NBA season at 38 years old, and for the second year in a row he is coming off the worst scoring season of his career. In addition, Paul was traded this offseason from a primary offensive role with the Phoenix Suns to a complementary role with the Golden State Warriors. It isn't clear whether Paul will start or come off the bench for the Warriors, but either way his minutes and opportunities to produce should fall significantly on a team with so many other scoring and playmaking options.
