News: 2 days agoGeorge produced 15 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds and three assists over 21 minutes in Sunday's 109-97 preseason win over the Nuggets.
Spin: George briefly exited the game after taking a blow to the face, but he returned a short while later and didn't seem any worse for the wear. George will look to take another step forward in Year 4 after breaking out with averages of 23.6 points, 6.1 assists, 2.5 triples and 1.1 steals per game last season.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: George broke out last season, settling in as the lead guard for the Jazz and pushing his scoring average up into the mid 20s. He also set new career marks in assists, with the threat of his own scoring imbalancing defenses and helping him create offense for teammates. The Jazz feature Lauri Markkanen as the main scoring option, but George is a close second. His challenge this season will be integrating all-world rookie Darryn Peterson into the backcourt in a way where both are optimized.
