                      News: 4 days agoThe Suns selected Nickel with the No. 47 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and traded him to the Knicks.

                      Spin: The Knicks were very busy shuffling picks during the draft, acquiring the No. 47 selection in the deal that sent Koa Peat to Phoenix. Nickel will head to New York after spending the final two years of his college career at Vanderbilt. Across 36 starts in 2025-26, he averaged 13.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.8 steals while shooting 40.0 percent from beyond the arc in 30.5 minutes per contest. The sharpshooter is far from guaranteed a consistent role with the defending champions.
