News: 4 days agoKnecht has agreed to a two-way contract with the Knicks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Spin: Knecht lands in New York after being waived by the Lakers ahead of the regular season. The 25-year-old averaged 4.2 points and 1.4 rebounds across 10.2 minutes per game during the 2025-26 regular season, but the move gives him an opportunity to rebuild his value. He'll likely spend time developing in the G League and face an uphill battle for consistent NBA minutes, limiting his immediate fantasy appeal.
