News: 7 hours agoHarper logged 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four assists and a steal over 21 minutes during Friday's 126-97 preseason win over the Kings.
Spin: Harper led San Antonio in scoring in the rout, bouncing back nicely after managing just nine points against Phoenix on Wednesday. The No. 2 overall pick in 2025 started Friday's finale and looks ready for a bigger role in his sophomore campaign.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Harper turned in a promising rookie season, posting solid all-around numbers in 23 minutes per game. He stepped it up in the playoffs, enough so that he is expected to play closer to starter minutes in Year 2. In six starts last season, including the playoffs, Harper averaged a rounded 16 PPG, 5 RPG and 5 APG in 30 MPG.
