ESPN Fantasy Projection: Buffalo has seemingly been in the tight end market for years, but Knox put some concerns to bed with a leap forward in 2021. Including the playoffs, the 2019 third-round pick was on the field for 87% of snaps during 17 active weeks. During the regular season, Knox led all tight ends in touchdowns (nine) and TD rate (12.3%), while finishing fourth in end zone targets (nine). On the negative side, Knox was targeted only 73 times (20th at the position) and fell short of a top-10 fantasy campaign. The 25-year-old's usage doesn't figure to rise much in 2022, so even in an elite Buffalo offense, he's best viewed as a good TE2.
