News: 15 hours agoJacobs (calf) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.

Spin: Paul Gutierrez of ESPN previously relayed that after Jacobs tweaked his left calf in a non-contact drill during last Friday's practice, the running back wasn't sure if he'd play Sunday against the Seahawks until about two hours before kickoff. Jacobs ended up giving it a go and racked up 33 carries for 229 yards and two touchdowns to go along with six catches for 74 yards in his team's 40-34 overtime win. However, given that Jacobs aggravated his injury late in regulation, his status is now worth monitoring closely as this weekend's game against the Chargers approaches. Per Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site, if Jacobs is out or limited versus Los Angeles, Zamir White could be the next man up in Las Vegas' Week 13 backfield.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Jacobs has been a busy man since being drafted in the first round of the 2019 draft. The Alabama product has handled carry shares of 68%, 66% and 69% in his three seasons and his target shares have progressively increased from 7% to 10% to 12%. Despite missing two games, Jacobs finished no lower than 12th among backs in carries, targets, touches, yards and fantasy points last season. His fantasy production was about as high floor/low ceiling as you can get, as he delivered only two top-10 fantasy weeks, but never fell below 34th in 15 outings. It's possible new coach Josh McDaniels utilizes more of a committee (Kenyan Drake, Ameer Abdullah and Zamir White are on the roster), but Jacobs' role as the lead ball carrier and goal line option keeps the 24-year-old in the RB2 mix.
