News: 5 days agoBellinger recorded four receptions on five targets for 40 yards in Monday's 23-16 loss to the Cowboys.

Spin: Bellinger had only one target through two games to begin his rookie season, but he saw a significant jump in his role against Dallas. He finished tied for second on the team in targets and also showed big-play ability by hauling in a 20-yard reception midway through the first quarter. The Giants are in need of playmakers to complement Saquon Barkley, so it's possible that Bellinger's role in the offense continues to expand.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Bellinger was selected by the Giants in the fourth round of April's draft. He is an inline TE prospect who spent 61% of his collegiate snaps run-blocking (second-highest rate in this rookie class). In turn, he was limited to a 68-771-5 receiving line on 104 targets (9% share) during his four seasons. Bellinger proved a reliable target (three career drops), but most of his usage was in the short range. He's big, very young and showed well at the combine with a 4.63 40-yard dash (110 speed score ranked third at TE), 22 bench reps and a class-best 125-inch broad jump. The Giants' TE depth chart is wide open, but rookie tight ends rarely land on the fantasy radar. Bellinger shouldn't be drafted.
