News: 6 days agoCorum rushed 12 times for 79 yards and brought in his only target for 13 yards in the Rams' 28-6 win over the Giants on Monday night. He also fumbled once but recovered.
Spin: Corum and Kyren Williams had the exact same number of carries, and the former was just six rushing yards shy of his teammate's total. Corum also was efficient on his one reception, and the 2024 third-round pick, who also recorded 10 carries in Week 1 against the 49ers, appears set to work as a legitimate 1A option in the Rams backfield moving forward. Corum next takes aim at a tough Broncos defense in a Week 3 road showdown on Sunday night.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Corum has spent his first two NFL seasons as Kyren Williams' backup, and that's expected to be the case again in 2026. The 2024 third-round NFL draft pick played well in the role last season, averaging a healthy 5.1 yards per carry (seventh among RBs) and scoring six touchdowns on 145 carries. However, Corum played only 29% of the Rams' snaps and remained a nonfactor as a receiver (36 yards on 14 targets). The 25-year-old has no standalone fantasy value, but he's an elite insurance stash, as he'd launch into the fringe-RB1 mix in the Rams' high-powered offense should Williams miss time.
