News: 1 day agoHolani rushed five times for 20 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 17-14 overtime loss to the Broncos on Thursday.
Spin: Holani filled his usual complementary role behind Emanuel Wilson, and he made good use of two of his touches in particular. Holani gained 13 of his yards on one carry, and he also posted his first rushing touchdown of the campaign on a one-yard run with just under six minutes remaining in regulation. Holani should remain in a low-volume role that could shrink even further if Zach Charbonnet (knee) is activated from the reserve/PUP list as expected for a Week 7 home showdown against the Chiefs on Sunday, Oct. 25.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Holani is on the 2026 fantasy radar with Kenneth Walker III no longer on the Seattle roster and Zach Charbonnet (ACL) in doubt for the early portion of the season. Holani will compete with rookie Jadrian Price and Emanuel Wilson for touches while Charbonnet is sidelined. The 2024 UDFA has 25 carries and three targets to his name through two NFL seasons. Price figures to get the first shot at lead back duties and, even if forced into a few starts in Seattle's run-friendly offense, Holani would be working in a committee and no more than a deep league flex.
