News: 5 days agoVaughn (coach's decision) is inactive Thursday against the Commanders, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Spin: Vaughn will take a seat again in Week 12, as Rico Dowdle (ankle) will play against Washington. The former's next chance to play will be Week 13 against the Seahawks.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Vaughn was selected in the sixth round of April's draft. The Kansas State product is a reliable receiving back, but his 5-foot-5, 179-pound frame will make it nearly impossible to achieve anything more than a change-of-pace/passing-down role in the pros. Vaughn did handle a big rushing workload at KSU (651 carries in three seasons), but the efficiency wasn't good (2.72 YAC was second lowest in this year's rookie class and his 15.7 broken tackle rate was the lowest). The rushing workload won't convert to the pros, but his class-high 18% target share could. Vaughn finished his collegiate career with 49-468-4 and 42-378-3 receiving lines in his final two seasons. Vaughn will immediately battle for a situational role behind new Dallas lead back Tony Pollard. He's a fine dynasty stash, but the ceiling is low.
