Spin: After Deshaun Watson had a listless performance in a blowout loss to the Jaguars in Week 1, Ian Rapoport of ESPN had reported that Sanders could get a chance to start as soon as Week 3 if the Browns continued to languish. Watson has since steadied the ship, leading the Browns to wins in four of their last five games to put them atop the AFC North standings heading into Week 7 action. As a result, Sanders doesn't appear likely to threaten Watson's standing atop the depth chart anytime soon, though Sanders will continue to suit up on game days ahead of rookie Taylen Green, who will once again be inactive Sunday as the Browns' emergency No. 3 quarterback.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Sanders enters his second NFL season set to back up Deshaun Watson in Cleveland. Sanders made eight appearances during his rookie season and wasn't overly productive, scoring eight all-purpose touchdowns, throwing 10 interceptions and completing 57% of his passes. The fifth-round pick produced one weekly fantasy finish better than 18th, though it was an impressive 364-yard passing game with four total touchdowns (33.5 points). Sanders added some value with his legs, including 20-plus yards in five straight games to end the season. The 24-year-old remains a wild card and is likely to earn some starts this season, so that's enough to make him worthy off a stash in superflex/dynasty leagues.
