News: 2 days agoWalker ripped off 128 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries and added two catches (on three targets) for 11 yards during Sunday's 22-6 win against the Chargers.

Spin: Following the Chiefs' Week 5 bye, Walker continued his early-season momentum with his new team, surpassing 100 yards on the ground for the fourth time in five games in a different uniform than the Seahawks. He now boasts 133.0 rushing yards per game, which prorated over a 17-game slate (2,261) would easily go past Eric Dickerson's NFL record 2,105 from the 1984 campaign and also mark the 10th 2,000-yard season in the history of the league. Walker's next chance to strike occurs next Sunday when he visits his former teammates in Seattle.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Walker signed with the Chiefs after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Seahawks. The reigning Super Bowl MVP and PFF's highest-graded running back from 2025, Walker is poised for feature-back duties in a good, Andy Reid-led offense. Having worked in a committee most of last season, Walker was limited to only five touchdowns and 11.3 fantasy points per game (both career lows), but he still generated 252 touches and a career-high 1,309 yards. He has yet to finish a season better than 18th in fantasy points (12th on a per-game basis) and has missed at least two games in three of four seasons in the league, but the 25-year-old's ability to contribute at a high level as a rusher and receiver is enough to position him as, at least, a fringe RB1 in 2026.
