News: 2 days agoRobinson finished Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Jets with five catches for 38 yards.
Spin: Tennessee's offense struggled as a whole Sunday, and the addition of Robinson and rookie Carnell Tate to the wideout corps didn't do much to improve QB Cam Ward's performance following a disappointing rookie season. Robinson and Tate both turned six targets into 38 yards, with Robinson logging five catches to Tate's four. As has been the case throughout Robinson's career, he was deployed mostly in short yardage, averaging a meager 7.6 yards per catch. Robinson blossomed with the Giants last year for a career-best 1,014 receiving yards on 92 catches, but he may struggle to reach those marks in 2026 if Ward doesn't show considerable improvement.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Robinson signed with the Titans after catching 90-plus passes each of the past two seasons. The 2022 second-round pick has progressively improved his production each season in the pros, peaking with a 30% target share (ninth among WRs), 1,014 yards (13th) and 13.6 fantasy PPG (16th) in 2025. An undersized, short-range slot target, Robinson isn't positioned for many big plays and is very rarely used near the goal line (he's yet to clear four TDs in a season and has 13 career end zone targets). In Tennessee, Robinson will battle rookie Carnell Tate and Calvin Ridley for the team lead in targets, but his potential for flex production will depend on whether Cam Ward is able to make a Year 2 leap. Robinson, 25, is a low-ceiling, middle-round target.
