Spin: Worthy was on the receiving end of Patrick Mahomes' first completion of the season, which went for nine yards and took the Chiefs down to the Broncos' 26-yard line on an opening drive that culminated in a 15-yard touchdown run by the returning signal-caller. Worthy produced modest gains on his other pair of grabs, but Mahomes recorded just five completions overall to wide receivers in the season-opening victory. Worthy boasts the potential for much better production, and he could have a good opportunity to deliver on that upside in a favorable Week 2 home matchup against the Colts on Sunday night.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: After impressing as a rookie with 101 touches and 12 touchdowns in 20 games (including the playoffs), Worthy had the look of an emerging star. Things didn't go as planned in Year 2, though, as the 2024 first-round pick was injured on his third snap of the season and wasn't productive or utilized as much as expected upon his return. Worthy was limited to one touchdown (Week 6) and reached 12 fantasy points once in 14 games (Week 4). The speedy Worthy is still only 23 years old, so a Year 3 breakout is certainly possible, especially with Rashee Rice and 36-year-old Travis Kelce as his only legit target competition. He's worth a late flier.
