News: 3 days agoWorthy caught four of seven targets for 70 yards in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Raiders.

Spin: Worthy finished second on the team in targets and receiving yards behind Tyquan Thornton, who caught five of eight targets for 111 yards and two touchdowns prior to suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter. Rashee Rice (hamstring) exited the game in the first quarter, so Worthy is the top healthy wide receiver for Kansas City, though Rice will have a chance to heal during the Week 5 bye before the Chargers come to town in Week 6.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: After impressing as a rookie with 101 touches and 12 touchdowns in 20 games (including the playoffs), Worthy had the look of an emerging star. Things didn't go as planned in Year 2, though, as the 2024 first-round pick was injured on his third snap of the season and wasn't productive or utilized as much as expected upon his return. Worthy was limited to one touchdown (Week 6) and reached 12 fantasy points once in 14 games (Week 4). The speedy Worthy is still only 23 years old, so a Year 3 breakout is certainly possible, especially with Rashee Rice and 36-year-old Travis Kelce as his only legit target competition. He's worth a late flier.
