News: 2 days agoAllen rushed 14 times for 59 yards and caught both of his targets for eight yards in Sunday's 23-12 loss to the Bears.

Spin: Allen accounted for all 14 of the Jets' rushing attempts in the absence of Breece Hall (quadriceps), who is considered week-to-week. The Bears dominated time of possession as Geno Smith completed just eight passes in the loss. If Hall isn't ready to return in Week 5 against the Browns, Allen would retain the lead role in the backfield for the Jets.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Hopes were high for Allen entering 2025, but a slow start was followed by a season-ending knee injury in Week 4. During Weeks 1-3, Allen played 28% of the Jets' snaps and totaled 67 yards and one touchdown on 16 touches. The 2024 fourth-round pick has shown he can contribute as both a rusher (110 career carries) and receiver (32 targets), but he's simply not going to see the field much as long as feature back Breece Hall is healthy. Allen, 22, has some late-round insurance stash appeal, as he'd likely start over Isaiah Davis in the event of a Hall injury and would thus find himself on the flex radar.
