Spin: Harris was held out of Thursday's preseason game against the 49ers due to an unspecified injury. It doesn't appear to be a severe issue, as he'll be back on the field for Saturday's practice, putting him on track to play in the Chargers' preseason finale against the Rams on Thursday. Harris is slated to serve as the team's WR3 behind Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston (lower body).

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Harris is a Year 2 breakout candidate after flashing in a limited role as a rookie. The 2025 second-round pick quietly played 49% of the Chargers' offensive snaps, but he spent a lot of that blocking and was limited to an 8% target share. Harris is likely to open the 2026 season behind Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston, but with Keenan Allen gone, his competition for No. 3 duties is 2025 fifth-round pick KeAndre Lambert-Smith and rookie Brenen Thompson. A potential starter in new playcaller Mike McDaniel's offense, the 24-year-old Harris is an intriguing late-round sleeper.
