Jameis Winston's four interception doom Buccaneers

Winston threw his final interception as the Bucs were driving in the fourth quarter, leaving his future in Tampa Bay in question.
Bradley Roby returned one of Jameis Winston’s four interceptions for a touchdown and Ka’imi Fairburn snapped a fourth-quarter tie with his third field goal Saturday, lifting the Houston Texans to a 23-20 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their...
I'm going to sound like a broken record with this because I've said it before, but against better teams — and we saw this today, just as we did against New Orleans — the Bucs' multiple turnovers are just too much to overcome. Fans should be encouraged by the growth of this defense though.
Very little has gone right for the Bucs against the Texans, but miraculously, it's a tied game at the half (17-17) thanks to Jamel Dean's interception and two touchdowns within the two-minute warning. Jameis Winston's struggled big time without Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, throwing three INTs and the Texans have scored 17 points off of turnovers.
The Houston Texans have a chance to clinch the AFC South on Saturday, and they got off to a good start, thanks to their defense.
Jameis Winston has now gone three-straight games with an opening drive interception. He now has six opening-drive INTs this season -- three times as many as any other QB. The team can't exactly pinpoint why this continues to be an issue on opening drives but it's been discussed quite a bit.
The opening drive INT spree for Jameis Winston continues -- he was pick-sixed on his very first pass attempt by Bradley Roby. Justin Watson tried to run an out-route. Timing routes have been an issue early on in games for the Bucs all season. Watson has a much bigger role today with no Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
Mood.
Jameis Winston leads his team back into the locker room after warmups. He threw four touchdowns last week without Mike Evans. Can he do the same without Evans AND Chris Godwin? He told Cam Brate and OJ Howard this week, "Hey, y'all are going to get that rock."
Judging by the way Bucs cornerback Carlton Davis was bouncing around to "Jump Around" in warmups, I don't think his ankle will be an issue today. He injured it in practice Thursday but looks to be moving fine.
Bucs' inactives against the Texans: WR Chris Godwin, OLB Kahzin Daniels, G Aaron Stinnie, T Jerald Hawkins, TE Jordan Leggett, TE Tanner Hudson and DL Beau Allen. Carlton Davis (ankle) will play.
The difference from the early part of the season to now for Breshad Perriman has been staggering. In Weeks 1-11, he caught 33.3 percent of targets thrown his way (average 13.77 air yards per target), 95 yards, 1 TD. In Weeks 12-15, Perriman's caught 77.8 percent (average 18.06 air yards per target), 314 yards, 4 TD.
Perriman is emerging as a bona fide fantasy asset, and it's not a stretch to consider using him in your championship-game lineup.
Bucs outside linebacker Shaq Barrett needs just a half sack to break Warren Sapp's single-season franchise record of 16.5. They're currently tied. Sapp reached out to him this week and said, "Your work's not done. Go get it."
Winston is still auditioning to be the 2020 starter. Proving he can carry the team without his two top targets would be a step in the right direction.
Bucs cornerback Carlton Davis sustained an ankle injury that limited him in Thursday's practice.
