ESPN Fantasy Projection: After playing in all 82 games in each of the prior three years, Nylander missed a whopping 17 games last season. His production -- 30 goals, 79 points in 65 games -- remained strong, but a deep dive reveals some massive concerns. Nylander managed just 156 shots on goal. His minus-14 rating was a career-worst mark, and his man advantage production cratered, dropping from 30-plus power-play points the prior two seasons to 22 in 2025-26. On a more positive note, the addition of No. 1 overall pick Gavin McKenna should give Nylander more room to operate. The Swede is an obvious rebound candidate in his age-30 campaign given the fact it's impossible to see things going any worse for the Leafs from a team standpoint in 2026-27.
