ESPN Fantasy Projection: Kempe was just one of 19 players to reach the 40-goal mark in 2022-23, finishing with a career-high 41 tallies. Kempe's 250 shots on goal, 20 power-play points, 119 hits and plus-22 rating were also new high-water marks. The Swede is at risk of some regression in 2023-24 due to his high 16.4 shooting percentage from a year ago, but his role on LA's top line and top power-play unit are secure, giving Kempe a stable fantasy floor. Kempe's assist totals will never be very high -- he had a career-high 26 last season -- so he has more value in formats which place extra emphasis on goals scored, but Kempe still makes for a strong early-to-mid-round pick in all fantasy formats.
