ESPN Fantasy Projection: Those that rolled the dice on Malkin in fantasy drafts in 2022-23 were handsomely rewarded. Seemingly constantly injured, the big man played in all 82 games for Pittsburgh last year. The result was 27 goals and 83 points, his highest totals since the 2018-19 campaign. The durability was shocking considering Malkin had appeared in 70-plus games just once in the previous decade. So, where does that leave us moving forward? Common sense dictates Malkin is unlikely to make it through another full season healthy, but he's shown he's still a point-per-game player despite the fact he will play this season at age 36. Take that into account before you take the plunge on draft day.
