ESPN Fantasy Projection: Werenski won the Norris Trophy as the NHL's Best Defenseman last season following a campaign in which he posted 22 goals and 81 points in 75 games. He added 20-plus points with the man advantage (21) for the third time in his career while Werenski's 26:37 average time on ice per game was second in the NHL to Minnesota's Quinn Hughes. There were rumblings Werenski wanted out of Columbus this summer, but the two sides eventually cleared the air and he is expected to remain with the Jackets, at least for the foreseeable future. The Michigan native has a real case to be the second defender off the board in fantasy drafts this fall behind Colorado's Cale Makar.
