ESPN Fantasy Projection: Kaprizov missed exactly half of Minnesota's 82 games two seasons ago, so the fact he was able to suit up 78 times in 2025-26 has to be considered a positive. He predictably performed at an elite level, finishing with 45 goals (fourth most in the NHL) and 89 points, a whopping 32 of which came with the man advantage. From a fantasy standpoint, Kaprizov is a bit of a tricky evaluation. Based upon age (29 this past April) and pure talent, he's a late first-rounder all day long, but the nagging injuries are a bit of a concern. Take both into account on draft day. Ultimately, the upside likely outweighs the risk here.
