ESPN Fantasy Projection: To the surprise of absolutely no one, Necas fit in beautifully in his first full season with Colorado. Appearing in 78 games, he set new career-best marks in goals (38), assists (62), and points (100). Necas added 200-plus shots on goal (206) for the third time in four years, while his 21:30 average time on ice was a new high-water mark. Necas' power-play production dipped severely, from 37 points with the man advantage two years ago to 24 this past year, but his 4:05 worth of ice time per game a man up was his most to date, so that number should only improve moving forward. Necas is a reasonable second-round fantasy pick in all formats heading into the 2026-27 campaign.
