ESPN Fantasy Projection: McLeod's goal scoring numbers dipped last season, down to 14 from 20 the year prior, but his assist rate shot way up and the end result was a career-best 54 points in 81 games. McLeod's five shorthanded goals led the NHL, while his seven power-play points matched nearly his entire total over his first five seasons in the league combined. Toss in a plus-16 rating and you have a nice little fantasy asset on your hands. That said, the shorthanded production is very difficult to predict year-after-year and McLeod has managed less than 100 shots on goal in back-to-back seasons, so a true repeat performance is far from certain.
