News: 10 hours agoLaCombe recorded a goal and an assist on two shots during Sunday's 6-2 preseason win over San Jose.
Spin: LaCombe put the Ducks on the board with his goal 2:57 into the first period Sunday, and he also pitched in on Beckett Sennecke's second-period goal. LaCombe appeared in all 82 regular-season games last year and generated 10 goals, 48 assists, 128 blocked shots, 74 hits and 19 PIM while averaging 24:15 of ice time.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: LaCombe followed up his breakout 2024-25 campaign with an even more impressive performance a season ago. Appearing in all 82 games for the first time, LaCombe racked up 10 goals and 58 points, including a whopping 17 with the man advantage. His numbers could have been even better had he not lost some power-play time to John Carlson after the veteran arrived from Washington in March. Carlson signed with Tampa Bay as a free agent, leaving LaCombe as Anaheim's unquestioned top defender this coming season. He projects as a high-end No. 2 fantasy defender in all formats.
