The NHL has two snow-making machines at its Lake Tahoe rink, running them at night to cover up what’s melted on the golf course where the weekend games will be played. There is some snow in the forecast for Friday night. As is NHL outdoor game tradition, the league is also laying down faux cotton snow around the rink to make it more picturesque.
