Melbourne City claimed a 2-1 comeback victory over basement boys Western Sydney Wanderers at AAMI Park on Sunday.
Yojiro Takahagi handed the A-League strugglers an early lead after five minutes before Jacob Melling pulled one back for Melbourne midway through the first half to level matters at the break.
Australia midfielder Aaron Mooy found the back of the net after 73 minutes to clinch all three points for the hosts, who recorded their fifth win of the season to sit sixth in the table, while the Wanderers remain four points adrift at the bottom.
