Brisbane v Wellington
Last-gasp Jean Carlos Solorzano goal gives Brisbane win at Wellington
Jean Carlos Solorzano netted a stoppage-time winner as Brisbane Roar edged out in-form Wellington Phoenix 3-2 to record their first home win of the A-League season.
The victory gained Brisbane revenge for their 3-0 mauling at the hands of Wellington in their last match before the break for the Asian Cup, and moved the stuttering champions to within four points of sixth-placed Melbourne City.
All five goals at Suncorp Stadium were scored in the second half, with Wellington taking a 50th-minute lead through Roy Krishna only for Brisbane to hit back through strikes from James Donachie (60) and Brandon Borrello (76).
Wellington, who would have moved up to second if they had managed to record a fifth successive win, levelled things up again when substitute Kenny Cunningham struck nine minutes from time, but it was Brisbane who would be celebrating in the end thanks to Solorzano's winner in the second minute of time added on.
