Peter Weatherson rescued a point for Annan as they came from behind to hold East Fife to a 1-1 draw.The hosts opened the scoring in the ninth minute when Caolan McAleer rifled in from the right side of the box after good work from Ross Campbell.Annan had a great opportunity to level things up in the 26th minute when Stuart McColm let fly from 20 yards but his effort clattered a post.The visitors finally equalised in the 78th minute when Weatherson controlled Martin McNiff's throw-in before rifling in from the edge of the six-yard box.Athletic pushed for a winner in the closing stages but were unable to complete the turnaround and had to settle for a point.
