Moore off the mark in style

On-loan striker Jordan Moore had a debut to remember with two goals and two assists as Queen's Park moved to within a point of the top of Scottish League Two with a 4-1 win over Montrose. The hosts went ahead in the 24th minute when Darren Miller slotted home after Paul Woods and Moore combined to create the opening.Moore then teed up Woods, who steered the ball into the bottom corner and it was almost three before the break when Shaun Fraser hit the crossbar.William Muir made a fine save to deny Garry Wood but Montrose did get one back with 14 minutes left when Ross Campbell lashed in from close range. But Moore was brought down by Marvin Andrews with eight minutes left and he picked himself up to score from the spot, before beating Stuart McKenzie again five minutes later with a cool finish.
