A stunning strike from midfielder Willie Gibson earned League One leaders Stranraer a deserved 1-0 win against Airdrie.The home side came close to taking the lead when Grant Gallagher picked out Sean Winter at the front post but his header was well-held by goalkeeper Andy McNeil.Stranraer continued to dominate and Steven Bell should have done better with a close-range header from Frank McKeown's flick.The Blues snatched the winner in stunning fashion as Gibson let fly with a screamer into the top corner to keep them at the top of the pile in the third tier.
