Forfar v Dunfermline
Joe Cardle treble sinks Forfar
Joe Cardle scored a hat-trick to fire Dunfermline to the top of Ladbrokes League One after a 4-0 win over previous leaders Forfar.Cardle opened the scoring in the fourth minute when he swept Michael Paton's cross from the right past Rab Douglas. And he doubled the advantage in first-half stoppage time when his shot squeezed past Douglas and over the line.Cardle wasted the opportunity to get his hat-trick in the 65th minute when Douglas made amends for giving away a penalty by saving Cardle's effort. However, Cardle made up for it four minutes later when he converted a Faissal El Bakhtaoui pass.Andy Geggan then wrapped up victory in stoppage time when he headed home Ryan Wallace's corner.
