Hertha Berlin remain in the top five of the Bundesliga following a 1-0 win at promoted Ingolstadt.
Mitchell Weiser put the Old Lady in front in the 11th minute, picking up on a poor clearance out of the Ingolstadt defence to shoot past Ramazan Ozcan with the aid of a deflection.
The goal came slightly against the run of play, but proved to be the difference between the two sides as Ingolstadt were unable to make their possession count.
It could have ended 2-0 with Jens Hegeler rounding Ozcan but shooting wide from Salomon Kalou's pass, although Ingolstadt were unable to add to their six goals for the season so far as they fell to defeat at home.
