Adrian Mutu rescues point for Pune City late against leaders FC Goa
Adrian Mutu scored in stoppage time to salvage a 2-2 draw at home against Indian Super League leaders FC Goa on Sunday.
In a matchup between the league's top two teams, Eugeneson Lyngdoh provided the opener for Pune City after receiveing a perfect pass from Didier Zokora in the 32nd minute.
But Goa responded with two goals before half-time as Rafael Coelho equalised within three minutes from a powerful shot, and Jonathan Lucca put the visitors ahead just before the break with a low shot that took a deflection.
Pune City worked to find the equaliser in the second half and finally found it with Mutu's shot past a diving goalkeeper with virtually the last kick of the game.
