UNAM v Tigres
Jurgen Damm sends Tigres into the CONCACAF Champions League semis
A masterful brace from Jurgen Damm has helped Tigres beat Pumas 4-1 on aggregate in Wednesday night's CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal second leg.
The hosts began the game with the upper-hand thanks to their away goal in the 1-1 first leg draw, but were blown away by Ricardo Ferretti's men at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario.
Damm opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, coolly converting Juninho's cross, before adding his second of the game 20 minutes after the restart.
Pumas went in search of the two goals needed to get them back into the match, but ultimately shipped a third when Luis Quinones finished off a fast counterattack for Tigres.
Ferretti's side will be joined in the CCL semifinals by FC Dallas, who progressed despite losing 2-1 to Arabe Unido in Wednesday's other quarterfinal clash.
