Inter Milan were knocked out in the round of 16 of the Europa League by Eintracht Frankfurt, 1-0 on aggregate, after a 1-0 defeat in Italy on Thursday.
Lobbed Luka Jovic lobbed Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic early for the visitors.
The two sides played to a goalless draw in Frankfurt in the first leg.
Eintracht will now await Friday's draw to see who they will face in the quarterfinals, with a spot in the Champions League on offer for the winner of the second-tier European continental tournament.
