Felipe Mora's 97th-minute penalty helped the Portland Timbers to a 1-1 draw against Club America in the opening leg of their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal matchup on Wednesday.
America had grabbed a lead when Roger Martinez converted a penalty in the first minute of first-half stoppage time.

The teams will play the second leg May 5 in Mexico City, with the winner to oppose either the Philadelphia Union or Atlanta United in the semifinals.
