Racing Louisville, San Diego Wave settle for goalless draw
Despite numerous scoring opportunities from both sides, Racing Louisville FC and San Diego Wave FC played to a 0-0 draw at Lynn Family Stadium on Saturday.
San Diego goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan made four saves to maintain the shutout, while the Wave blocked seven shots in front of her. Louisville goalie Katie Lund, meanwhile, was also impressive, making two saves.
Louisville's Savannah DeMelo stood out with two attempts on goal, while Jaelin Howell had a strong outing on defense.
Alex Morgan and Sofia Jakobsson each had scoring opportunities for the Wave put couldn't get one past Lund.
