The Houston Dash and Kansas City Current played to a 1-1 draw at Shell Energy Stadium on Sunday.

Temwa Chawinga opened the scoring for Kansas City in the 24th minute with a left-footed goal from the center of the box, assisted by Vanessa DiBernardo.

Amanda West equalized for Houston late in the second half with a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner, assisted by Bárbara Olivieri.

Houston goalkeeper Jane Campbell made several crucial saves throughout the match, including two in second-half stoppage time to preserve the draw.
