Bay FC edged the Houston Dash 3-2 at Shell Energy Stadium on Saturday. Racheal Kundananji led Bay FC with two goals, including the game-winner in the 54th minute.

The scoring started early with an own goal by Paige Nielsen of Houston in the 10th minute, giving Bay FC a 1-0 lead. However, Bárbara Olivieri quickly equalized for Houston with a right-footed shot from the center of the box in the 14th minute, assisted by Sarah Puntigam. Kundananji put Bay back ahead in the 21st minute with her first goal of the night, assisted by Abby Dahlkemper following a corner kick.

Houston (5-5-16) fought back early in the second half when Avery Patterson scored just to level things at 2. Yuki Nagasato assisted Patterson. But it was Kundananji who had the final say as she netted her second goal for Bay (11-1-14) with another strike from inside the box. Savannah King assisted.

Bay FC's Katelyn Rowland's made three crucial saves to keep her team ahead.

For Houston, goalkeeper Heather Hinz managed two saves.
