Sources: Creighton coach Greg McDermott is retiring after this season, with the job being passed on to coach-in-waiting Alan Huss, per me and Jeff Borzello. McDermott has won 365 games in 16 years there.   McDermott’s career spends 25 seasons as a Division I head coach, including stops at Northern Iowa and Iowa State. He reached 13 NCAA tournaments. He has a career record of 514-319, including the 2023 Elite Eight. He will coach Creighton in The Crown tournament this year to cap his career.
