ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) _ Jose Guillen went 3-for-4 and drove in one run to help the Tampa Bay Devil Rays beat the Cleveland Indians 4-3 Friday.

Guillen had a RBI single in the third inning and triple before scoring on Damian Rolls' sacrifice fly for a 4-2 lead in the sixth.

Mike DiFelice hit a solo homer off C.C. Sabathia and Bobby Smith drove in the Devil Rays' first run with a sacrifice fly.

Ed Taubensee hit a solo homer off Travis Harper in the fourth, and Jim Thome had a RBI single off Jesus Colome in the fifth.

Harper allowed one run and three hits in four innings for the Devil Rays.

Ken Hill, trying to win a spot in Tampa Bay's bullpen after being a starter for six teams in 11 seasons, pitched the ninth in his first save situation since the minor leagues.

Sabathia allowed three runs and four hits in four innings.

Notes: The Devil Rays departed after the game for Mexico City, where they are to play the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday and Sunday ... Tampa Bay RHP Juan Guzman, returning from shoulder surgery, is scheduled to start a minor league game Monday ... Cleveland RHP Bartolo Colon, who left the club to be with his mother who is sick in the Dominican Republic, is expected back to make a minor league start Saturday.
